Over recent months we have come accross an increase in the Jaguear Land Rover EGR valves fitted from the factory failing.
For a 100% way to stop the fault codes occuring, we mechanically blank them on the engine, then remove the fault code from the ECU.
Benefits of blanking the EGR are:
- Turbo spools up quicker, and at lower revs (less turbo lag)
- Prevents carbon build-up inside intake manifold, and ports
- Smoother pick up from idle and better fuel economy
- Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.
- Lowers soot output (less smoke on pull off)
Whilst we’re doing that, we also take the opportunity to the engine to around 235bhp and 400lb ft.

If the 550bhp Superchaged V8 in the SVR Range Rover Sport isn’t enough, we at Tuning Emporium can leash even more power for you, yet still within engine and drivetrain tollorances.
Power should rise from 550bhp and 680nm to 585bhp and 720NM.

We had a cracking exmaple of an Audi S7 in for a remap the other day, 4.0 V8 tiwn turbo. With 420bhp as standard, with a custom remap, we were able to tune to 540bhp, right into RS7 territory.
